mixing business with friends
so i had a job interview today with a really good friend of mine who used to work with me a few years ago before getting her current job. i’d be working directly under her if offered the position. she started off the interview by saying, “tiff, i know we’re friends outside of this and we hang a lot but you know a few other people that i’m interviewing so i just want to make it clear that all of this is business no matter the decision i make.” i told her i completely understood and wouldn’t take it personal if she decided to go with someone else. but the interview went really well. i really do hope she offers me the position. she and i worked well together before and we get along great. but i’d have to drop the photography class i’m taking now since the hours are 9am-5pm versus the rotating shift i have now which allows me to take classes and adjust my schedule accordingly. but whatever. i’d suck up that $700 loss for this job without batting an eye.
Wish me luck
Interview today at 11:30. At least I’m starting to get call backs.
Anyhow, good morning Tumblr. Twas a long wknd. Now back to the basics.
What if you slept?
and what if,
in your sleep
you dreamed?
and what if,
in your dream,
you went to heaven
and there plucked
a strange and
beautiful flower?
and what if,
when you awoke,
you had the flower in
your hand?
ah!!!
What then?
